Armenia to face Serbia in ISFA World Cup Round of 16

The Armenian national team has reached the knockout stage of the ISFA World Cup 2026, which is being held in Utrecht. Armenia will face Serbia in the Round of 16.
Armenia finished fourth in Group D with nine points from six matches. The team recorded three wins and three defeats.
In their opening match, Armenia suffered a 3-0 defeat to France before claiming two consecutive victories — against Belgium (3-0) and South Korea (1-0). Armenia then lost 4-2 to Colombia, defeated Poland 1-0 and concluded the group stage with a 2-0 loss to Latvia.

Serbia will be Armenia's opponent in the Round of 16. The Serbian national team won Group A and completed the group stage unbeaten, with four victories and two draws.
The tournament will conclude on September 4. All knockout-stage matches, including the final, will be played on the same day.
The Armenian team is coached by former Armenia international Davit Manoyan. The squad also includes Karen Kazaryan, Wilson Margaryan, Mikael Astatsaturyan and Alexander Yegantsyan.
