The Armenia national football team will play a friendly match against the national team of Belarus in March. The game will take place during the international window on March 29, 2026, and will be held in Armenia. This was reported by Sport5.by.
According to the source, the match against Armenia will be Belarus’ second friendly during the March window. Earlier, on March 26, the Belarusian team will play an away match against Cyprus. The match in Cyprus will kick off at 8:00 PM Belarus time, while the kick-off time for the game in Armenia has not yet been determined. The host cities for both friendly matches will be announced later.
It is worth noting that the match against Cyprus will be the debut of Viktor Goncharenko as the new head coach of the Belarus national team.
The national teams of Armenia and Belarus will not play any official matches in 2026 until September, when the 2026/27 UEFA Nations League season begins. Moreover, the teams could theoretically end up in the same group.
The head-to-head history includes seven matches: Armenia have won twice, Belarus have claimed three victories, and two matches ended in draws. The last meeting took place on November 9, 2017, when Armenia secured a convincing 4–1 win in a friendly match.
