Armenia’s National Team Climbs in FIFA Ranking (September 2025 Update)

On September 18, FIFA published the updated national team rankings. As a result, Armenia’s national team moved up two positions and now holds 103rd place with 1219.55 points.

This achievement became possible thanks to the team’s performances in the September matches. Armenia secured an important victory over Ireland (2:1), ranked 61st, and lost to Portugal (0:5). The success against the Irish was key to improving Armenia’s standing.

Spain has taken the lead in the world ranking with 1875.37 points. France is just behind in second place, while reigning world champion Argentina has dropped to third.
