On February 5, in the main round of the 2026 UEFA Futsal Euro qualification tournament, Armenia’s national team secured a convincing victory over Albania in Tirana. The match ended with a 5:1 score in favor of the visitors.
Denis Nevedrov scored a hat-trick, netting goals in the 21st, 26th, and 36th minutes. Arthur Melkonyan and Nikita Khromykh added one goal each. The hosts’ only goal was scored by Ermir Kriezju in the 38th minute.
The match started as an even contest, but Armenia managed to demonstrate its superiority in the second half. Denis Nevedrov’s excellent performance and the cohesive efforts of the entire team secured a convincing result.
Tournament Standings
Following this victory, Armenia tops Group 6 with 10 points after four rounds. In the other group match, Kazakhstan defeated Denmark 7:3, solidifying its position in second place.
