Armenia Futsal National Team Announces Squad for Training Camp and Friendlies Against Moldova

The head coach of the Armenia national futsal team has announced an 18-player squad for the September training camp, which will conclude with two international friendly matches against Moldova.
The team will begin its training camp at the Football Federation of Armenia Technical Centre on September 7. The camp will run until September 13, after which Armenia will travel to Chișinău to face Moldova in two friendly matches on September 15 and 17.

The biggest talking point of the squad is the first-ever call-ups for two Argentine-Armenian players, Facundo Hovhannisyan and Martin Aram Ramiro.
The 21-year-old Facundo Hovhannisyan is a goalkeeper who recently joined Spanish club Burela, competing in the Segunda División. Last season he played for Italy's Russi, helping the club win the Serie B title. Before moving to Europe, he came through the academy of Argentina's Atlanta and also represented the Argentina U-17 national team, winning the South American U-17 Championship (Copa América).
Less is known about Martin Aram Ramiro, who is also 21 years old. He plays for Primera Junta in Argentina's Primera C, the country's third division. The upcoming training camp could mark his debut with the Armenia national futsal team.
The two matches against Moldova will serve as an important step in Armenia's preparations for upcoming official international competitions.
