Sandro Perković bids farewell to Noah: “We made history”

Former Noah head coach Sandro Perković has published a farewell message after ending his time with the Armenian club.

The Croatian coach began his message with one of his favorite quotes from legendary basketball player Kobe Bryant:

“Leave the game better than you found it.”

Perković noted that throughout his entire time at Noah, the main goal for him and his coaching staff was to make the team better every day and in every match.

The coach reserved special words of gratitude for the players, praising their attitude toward their work, dedication and the atmosphere they created in training. Perković also thanked all of the club’s employees, from the medical and media departments to the staff responsible for the pitch, dressing room and the team’s day-to-day operations.

He also specifically mentioned Anna Ohanyan and Gurgen Ohanyan, the Keepers and FAF supporters, and expressed special gratitude to Noah president Vardges Vardanyan.

“We had difficult moments. We had incredible moments. We made history. We won two trophies. And most importantly, we created something that required an incredible amount of hard work, dedication and belief. And we know how much work we put in,” Perković wrote.

In closing, the former head coach stressed that he would always remain grateful to the people he had the opportunity to work with at the club.

“It was a pleasure and, above all, a huge honor. Come on Noah, come on!” Perković concluded.

As a reminder, Uruguayan coach Pablo García has been appointed as Noah’s new head coach.
