Noah head coach Sandro Perković commented on his team's elimination from the Champions League after the second leg of the second qualifying round against Hungary's Ferencváros. On aggregate, the Armenian club lost 4-6 and will continue its campaign in the Europa League third qualifying round.
"I congratulate Ferencváros on reaching the next round of the Champions League. I wish them success going forward. I also congratulate my players – for most of the match we looked worthy. We played against a strong opponent, did everything possible, and I am satisfied with that. We will learn many lessons from this match.
We heard and felt the presence of our fans. Their voices echoed in the stadium, and the support was tangible. I am grateful to all the Armenian fans who came to support us. It means a lot to us. I hope we did not disappoint them. As I have already said, my players gave everything they had at that moment. And I sincerely hope that such support will be with us throughout the season," Perković said.
Noah’s next opponent will be Lincoln from Gibraltar.
