Sandro Lima Scores His First Armenian Premier League Goal to Earn Ararat-Armenia Victory

Ararat-Armenia claimed a 1-0 victory over Ararat in the sixth round of the Armenian Premier League. The only goal of the match was scored by Brazilian striker Sandro Lima.
The decisive moment came in the 48th minute when the 35-year-old forward headed home a cross from Artur Serobyan to score the winner. It was Lima's first goal in the Armenian Premier League.
Before opening his domestic account, the Brazilian had already scored four goals for Ararat-Armenia in European competitions. He has now added his first league goal to that tally.
After six rounds, Ararat-Armenia have collected 13 points and sit third in the league standings. Ararat remain 10th with three points.
