Official: Sandro Lima joins Ararat-Armenia

Brazilian striker Sandro Lima, 35, has joined Ararat-Armenia. The forward moves to the Armenian champions from Portuguese top-flight club Alverca.
Last season, Lima scored 5 goals and provided 2 assists in Portugal’s top division. The experienced striker is expected to strengthen Ararat-Armenia’s attacking line ahead of the club’s European campaign.
During his career, Sandro Lima has played for clubs in Portugal, South Korea, Turkey and Brazil. His best season in Portugal’s top division came in 2019/20, when he scored 10 goals.
The Brazilian forward has also had productive seasons in the second divisions of Turkey, South Korea and Portugal, where he recorded campaigns with 12 and 11 goals.
Sandro Lima’s transfer market value is estimated at €150,000. The striker is 186 cm tall.
On July 7, Ararat-Armenia will play their first match in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League. The Armenian champions will face Latvian side Riga.
