Samvel Terteryan Reaches Final of International Greco-Roman Wrestling Tournament in Kaspiysk

Armenian Greco-Roman wrestler Samvel Terteryan (77 kg) has reached the final of the prestigious international Surakat Asiyatilov Memorial Tournament, held from May 11 to 13 in the city of Kaspiysk, Russia. The tournament has brought together the strongest U20 wrestlers from Russia, Armenia, and other regions.
An expanded lineup of Armenia’s U20 Greco-Roman national team is taking part in the competition. On the first day, the preliminary bouts were held in the 55, 63, 77, 87, and 130 kg weight categories.
Samvel Terteryan, competing in the 77 kg division, confidently advanced to the final. In the semifinals, he defeated fellow Armenian Artur Amoyan with a score of 5:0.
