On February 5, the first competition day of the ranking wrestling tournament Zagreb Open 2025 took place in Croatia. This is the first ranking tournament of the year 2025.
On the first day, medals were contested in six weight categories in freestyle wrestling: 57-61-65-70-74-86 kg. The national teams of the USA and Iran won two gold medals each, while Azerbaijan and Slovakia claimed one gold medal each. Notably, the Armenian national team is not participating in Zagreb.
Arman Eloyan (61 kg), competing for France, and Erik Arushanian (65 kg), representing Ukraine, did not secure podium finishes.
