Today, March 2, the 2025 Junior World Figure Skating Championships concluded in Debrecen, Hungary. Two athletes represented the Armenian team at the tournament: Sofia Titova and Mikael Salnazaryan.
Sofia Titova successfully passed the qualification and advanced to the free program. She finished in 20th place among 48 participants, scoring 159.79 points. The winner of the tournament was Japanese figure skater Mao Shimada, who demonstrated a high level of skating and earned 230.84 points.
Mikael Salazaryan, unfortunately, did not manage to advance to the free program. In the short program, he scored 49.15 points, placing him 39th among 41 participants. The junior champion was Japan's Rio Nakata, who scored an impressive 248.99 points.
