Schedule of Armenian Weightlifters at the 2025 World Championships

The Weightlifting Federation of Armenia has published the schedule of the national team’s performances at the upcoming 2025 World Championships, which will be held in Førde, Norway.

Seven Armenian weightlifters will represent the country at the World Championships.

Armenian athletes will compete on the following days (time given in Yerevan time):

• October 3, 21:30 — Garnik Cholakyan in the 60 kg category.

• October 5, 21:30 — Gor Sahakyan in the 71 kg category.

• October 7, 19:00 — Suren Grigoryan in the 88 kg category. Andranik Karapetyan (Bosnia and Herzegovina) will also compete in this weight class.

• October 8, 19:00 — Anna Amroyan in Group B of the 77 kg category.

• October 10, 21:30 — two Armenian lifters, Simon Martirosyan and Garik Karapetyan, in the 110 kg category.

• October 11, 18:00 — Varazdat Lalayan in the super heavyweight (+110 kg). Gor Minasyan (Bahrain) will also compete in this category.

All competitions will be broadcast live on Armenia’s Public Television.
