RAF Wrestling announces new signings: Arsen Harutyunyan among the newcomers

Freestyle wrestling league RAF Wrestling has announced a new group of signed athletes. The list of newcomers includes several world-class stars, including Armenian wrestler Arsen Harutyunyan.

Harutyunyan is one of the leaders of Armenia’s freestyle wrestling team. He is a four-time European champion, a multiple World Championships medalist, and a two-time U23 world champion. Arsen’s signing has become one of RAF Wrestling’s most notable additions.

In addition to Harutyunyan, the league announced the signing of well-known wrestlers and fighters from different countries. Among them are three-time world champion Haji Aliyev of Azerbaijan, Paris 2024 Olympic champion Magomed Ramazanov, 2024 Olympic bronze medalist Dauren Kurugliev, and Kyrgyz wrestler Ernazar Akmataliev, who has three World Championships medals.

Haji Aliyev — three-time world champion, Azerbaijan

Asu Almabayev — one of the strong contenders in MMA’s flyweight division, Kazakhstan

Yonger Bastida — 2026 NCAA runner-up, Cuba

Ben Davino — 2026 NCAA runner-up, former U17 World Team member, USA

Brock Hardy — five-time All-American, USA

Arsen Harutyunyan — four-time European champion, multiple World Championships medalist, Armenia

Dauren Kurugliev — 2024 Olympic bronze medalist, Greece

Max McEnelly — 2026 NCAA champion and 2025 U20 world champion, USA

Magomed Ramazanov — 2024 Olympic champion, Bulgaria

For RAF Wrestling, this is another major step in the league’s development. The organization continues to bring together strong wrestlers from different countries and is gradually strengthening the international status of its events.

The league’s next event, RAF 09, will take place on May 30. One of the main attractions of the evening will be a match featuring Armenian UFC fighter Arman Tsarukyan, who will step onto the mat against American Keelan Jimison.

It has not yet been announced when Arsen Harutyunyan will make his RAF Wrestling debut. However, his arrival on the league’s roster already makes future events especially interesting for Armenian fans.
