Pyunik defeated Ararat in the final match of 2025

In Matchday 15 of the Armenian Premier League, Pyunik earned a confident 2–0 victory over Ararat, moving up to second place in the league table.

Both goals were scored by Cameroonian forward Marius Noubissi. Coming on as a substitute, he opened the scoring in the 67th minute after a precise assist from Sead Islamovic. In added time, in the 94th minute, Noubissi completed his brace with a spectacular long-range strike from the centre circle. He now has 6 goals in the current championship.

Thanks to this win, Pyunik goes into the winter break in second place with 29 points. Alashkert and Urartu have the same number of points, while Ararat-Armenia leads with 31. In fifth place is the reigning champion Noah (22 points), who has played only 12 matches — two fewer than Pyunik.

Matchday 15 will conclude on December 1 with the game between Noah and Van. The match between Ararat-Armenia and Shirak will be resumed from the 27th minute.
