Armenia to Compete at European Judo Cup in Kaunas with Five Athletes

Armenia’s youth judo team will take part in the upcoming European Open Cup in Kaunas, Lithuania, scheduled for May 24–25. The national team will be represented by five judokas.

Team Armenia lineup:

• -60 kg: Vage Aghasyan

• -60 kg: Gor Safaryan

• -66 kg: Zhirayr Ambarian

• -66 kg: Leva Srapyan

• -100 kg: Gor Karapetyan

Special attention is on the return of junior world champion Gor Karapetyan, who is making his comeback after a year-long injury break. He is set to compete again in Kaunas.

Following the tournament in Lithuania, the Armenian team will travel to Tallinn, Estonia, to participate in a similar event starting on July 5.
