"Let him write down how much he wants": Noah tried to sign Nair Tiknizyan
Football

Armenian champions FC Noah made an attempt to sign Armenia national team defender Nair Tiknizyan. According to insider Norik Serobyan on the "Вбутсах" podcast, the Yerevan-based club contacted the player’s representatives and made a generous offer.

"Let him write down how much he wants" — this is the message, according to the source, that Noah sent to Tiknizyan’s entourage.

However, the player himself showed no interest. Nair Tiknizyan is looking to continue his career in Europe. Serbian club Red Star Belgrade has already expressed interest in him, and the defender has requested a transfer from Lokomotiv due to conflicts with the head coach and a lack of playing time.

Still, if Lokomotiv does not receive suitable offers for Nair, he may consider the option of joining an Armenian club rather than staying on the bench until the end of his contract.

Noah also made an offer to Krasnodar captain and key player Eduard Spertsyan. The club wanted the midfielder to spend six months in Armenia and then move to Europe — following the example of Georgian winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who spent a short period at Dinamo Batumi before transferring to Napoli. However, Spertsyan declined this option as well.

In the summer of 2025, both Armenian internationals are highly likely to change clubs — but for different reasons. Tiknizyan wants to leave due to problems at Lokomotiv, while Spertsyan, after a successful title-winning season in Russia, is ready for the next step in his career. He had earlier promised Krasnodar owner Sergey Galitsky that he would only leave for Europe after winning the championship — and now he has kept his word.

According to sources, there is already concrete interest in Eduard Spertsyan from Leeds United, who have returned to the English Premier League. The club’s head coach Daniel Farke is reportedly personally interested — having previously worked with Spertsyan at Krasnodar.
