The 20-year-old center-back has signed a contract with Syunik, a club in Armenia’s First League.Poghos is a graduate of Moscow’s Lokomotiv academy and has also played for the youth teams of Sochi and Akron.
Krmzyan has suffered two serious knee injuries—cruciate ligament tears—but that did not break him. He continues to fight and still wants to play.
For Armenia’s U19 national team, Poghos has played five matches.
It is also worth mentioning that his grandfather, his namesake Poghos Krmzyan, once played for Yerevan’s Ararat and Kotayk.
