The first major transfer of the summer has taken place: Real Madrid signs Dean Huijsen

Official: Spanish national team defender and Bournemouth player Dean Huijsen will join Real Madrid at the end of the season.
The Royal Club will pay €60 million for the 20-year-old footballer. His contract will run until June 30, 2030.
Dean Huijsen was born in Amsterdam and has Dutch roots, but moved to Spain with his family at the age of five. He trained at Malaga’s academy and joined Juventus in 2021. In the summer of 2024, Bournemouth bought him from the Turin club for €15 million and sold him a year later for four times that amount.
At youth level, Huijsen represented the Netherlands, but later chose to play for the Spanish national team.
Dean Huijsen will become the first signing of Real Madrid under Xabi Alonso, who will take charge of the club on June 1.
