Armenian midfielder Hovhannes Harutyunyan has returned to Pyunik. The club announced the comeback of a player who had previously been an important part of the team and made a significant contribution to its success.
Harutyunyan spent one of the best spells of his career at Pyunik. He recorded 27 goals and 26 assists for the Yerevan club. Together with the team, the midfielder became Armenian champion twice — in the 2020/21 and 2023/24 seasons.
Harutyunyan spent last season at Noah. He made 18 appearances for the club, scoring 1 goal and providing 1 assist.
Harutyunyan’s return is also interesting in terms of familiar on-field connections. The Hovhannes Harutyunyan — Artak Dashyan partnership has now been restored at Pyunik. It should be noted that Dashyan returned to the Yerevan club in the winter of 2026, also moving from Noah.
Thus, Pyunik strengthen their midfield with a player who knows the club’s demands well and has already proven his effectiveness in the Armenian championship.
