First Opponents of Armenian Judokas Determined at the European U23 Championships

The draw for the European U23 Judo Championships took place in Chișinău, Moldova. Armenia will be represented by several young judokas who have already learned the names of their first opponents.
In the 60 kg weight category:
Vahe Aghasyan (Armenia) will face Hristo Hristov (Bulgaria).
Martin Badalyan (Armenia) will fight against Kwaseri Ignasiak (Poland).
In the 66 kg category:
Jirair Gambaryan (Armenia) will face Yam Volchak (Israel).
In the 73 kg weight category:
Artak Torosyan (Armenia) will start the tournament against the winner of the bout between Augus Raulsonis (Lithuania) and Alen Hristov (Bulgaria).
Narek Vardanyan (Sweden) — Paulus Kalinis (Latvia).
Sos Khachatryan (Serbia) — Renat Kroitoru (Moldova).
In the 100 kg category:
Gor Karapetyan (Armenia) will meet Roman Amaro (Spain).
