Armenia national team midfielder Artur Galoyan has signed a three-year contract with Torpedo Moscow. The 26-year-old’s transfer from Russian Premier League club Akron has been finalized.
For Galoyan, this is a homecoming — he is a Torpedo academy graduate and previously played for the club from 2017 to 2020. During that period, he made 69 appearances, scored 6 goals, and won the PFL “Center” zone title in the 2018/2019 season.
After leaving Torpedo, Galoyan played for Alania, Baltika, and Akron, earning First League bronze medals twice — in the 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 seasons. Now he is set to once again represent his boyhood club, which will continue its campaign in the First League this season.
