Official: Tomas Adoryan from the Argentine club called up to the Armenian national team

Midfielder Tomas Adoryan of the Argentine club Banfield has been called up to the Armenian national team. In June, the team will play two friendly matches — on June 6 against Kosovo and on June 9 against Montenegro. Both matches will be held away.
The 23-year-old Adoryan can play on both the left and right flanks of midfield, as well as in the attacking midfielder position. A product of Atlético Patronato, he has been playing for Banfield since 2021. In the current Argentine league season, he has made 11 appearances and scored 1 goal.
During his career, he also played in Uruguay for Rampla Juniors, where in the 2024 season of the top division, he made 32 appearances, scored 3 goals, and provided 5 assists.
The player’s call-up to the Armenian national team was confirmed by Banfield’s official social media accounts.
“We are very proud that Thomas has the chance to represent Armenia on the international stage. He is a role model for the young players from our academy, and we wish him the best of luck in the upcoming matches,” read the official statement from Club Banfield.
