“A very interesting player”: Podbrezová comment on Davit Hakobyan’s transfer

Slovak club ŽP Šport Podbrezová has officially confirmed the signing of Armenian midfielder Davit Hakobyan. The 19-year-old player signed a three-year contract with the team.

The club’s general manager, Miroslav Poliaček, praised the qualities of the newcomer:
“We watched his performances in several matches and decided to start negotiations with his club. He’s a very interesting and talented player with good physical attributes, and he’s part of Armenia’s U21 national team.”

The transfer had already been announced earlier by BKMA, where Hakobyan played last season. Now, the transfer has been confirmed by the receiving club as well.

In the Armenian Premier League, Hakobyan proved himself as one of BKMA’s key players, scoring 7 goals and providing 3 assists. His strong performances earned him a call-up to the Armenian national team.
