A meeting was held at the headquarters of the Football Federation of Armenia (FFA), organized by the FFA Competitions Department, with the participation of representatives from Fastex Premier League and First League clubs.
The main topic of discussion was the possible changes to the format of the Armenian Premier League. In particular, the proposals published by the FFA back in January were addressed, including matters related to the structure of the league, the foreign player limit, the number of teams and matchdays, as well as the status of the BKMA club.
According to the video released by the Federation, any changes will come into effect only starting from the 2026/27 season. The upcoming 2025/26 season will be held under the current format. Clubs will have the entire year to develop their proposals and participate in similar future discussions.
The final decision regarding the format of the Premier League will be made through such meetings, taking into account the positions of all stakeholders.
