Noah crushed Gandzasar ahead of the trip to Ljubljana

Yerevan’s Noah secured a convincing victory in Round 3 of the Armenian Premier League, defeating Gandzasar 4–1.

The Armenian champions’ goals were scored by Elder Ferreira, Gor Manvelyan, Takuto Oshima, and Virgil Pinson. The visitors’ only goal came from American Luke Merrill, his second of the current season.

For Noah, this victory was an important rehearsal before a key European match. On August 21, Sandro Perkovic’s team will play the first leg of the UEFA Conference League playoff round in Ljubljana against Olimpija. The clash will be a decisive test of the season and a chance to bounce back from the disappointment against Lincoln in the Europa League.

Interestingly, Olimpija lost 1–3 to Koper in the 5th round of the Slovenian league right before facing Noah. The reigning Slovenian champions currently sit 4th with 9 points after five matches.
