Noah have continued their perfect start to the Armenian championship. Pablo Garcia’s side have won all five of their opening matches — something the club had never previously achieved at the start of a season.
In the Matchday 5 encounter in Abovyan, Noah claimed an emphatic 4-0 victory over Ararat. Elder Ferreira was the standout performer with a brace, while Gor Manvelyan and Zaven Khudaverdyan also found the net.
For 19-year-old Khudaverdyan, it was his second consecutive match with a goal in the championship.
The match was played in extremely difficult weather conditions, with heavy rain falling throughout the game in Abovyan.
After five rounds, Noah sit top of the Armenian championship with a perfect 15 points. Pablo Garcia’s team will face Gandzasar in the next round.
Ararat are 10th in the standings with 3 points and will take on Ararat-Armenia in their next match.
