Armenian champions FC Noah have learned their potential opponent for the next round of UEFA Champions League qualifying. If they defeat Montenegrin side Budućnost in the first round, the Armenian club will face Hungary’s Ferencváros in the second round — the team where Armenian national team forward Edgar Sevikyan currently plays.
Last season, Ferencváros reached the UEFA Europa League play-offs, having defeated strong opponents such as Nice, Dynamo Kyiv, Malmö, and AZ Alkmaar during the group stage and knockout rounds.
The draw also included a potential UEFA Conference League opponent for Noah, in case they lose to Budućnost. The name of that team will be announced later following the Conference League draw.
