Narek Kapushyan to continue coaching Armenia’s U16 basketball team

Narek Kapushyan will remain head coach of Armenia’s U16 boys’ basketball team. The Executive Committee of the Basketball Federation of Armenia unanimously approved the decision at its first meeting.

Kapushyan, who received coaching training in the United States, took charge of the team in August 2025. In July 2026, he led Armenia to victory in Division C of the FIBA U16 EuroBasket, held in Yerevan.

Following that home tournament triumph, the federation has entrusted him with continuing his work with the team.
