Napoli has claimed the Serie A title for the fourth time in its history. Under the guidance of Antonio Conte, the Neapolitan club finished top of the league with 82 points, winning their first Scudetto since the 2022/23 season.
In the final round (matchday 38), Napoli secured a 2–0 home victory over Cagliari. The goals came from Scottish midfielder Scott McTominay and Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku.
Meanwhile, Inter Milan also won 2–0 away against Como, thanks to goals by Stefan de Vrij and Joaquín Correa. Como’s goalkeeper Pepe Reina was sent off before halftime.
Armenian national team captain Henrikh Mkhitaryan did not feature for Inter due to a minor injury. However, he is expected to be fully fit for the UEFA Champions League final against Barcelona on May 31.
Despite the win, Inter finished one point behind Napoli and took second place. With this title, Antonio Conte became the first manager in history to win Serie A with three different clubs — Juventus, Inter, and now Napoli.
