Noah's striker and last season's top scorer of the Armenian Premier League Gonçalo Gregório has suffered a serious cruciate ligament injury and will be out for at least three months. As a result, there is a possibility that the Portuguese forward will not return to the pitch in 2025.
Because of this loss, the club is urgently strengthening its attacking line and has signed Bosnian striker Nardin Mulahuseinović.
The 30-year-old Gregório scored 27 goals in all competitions last season and became a key figure in Noah's attack. In yesterday's UEFA Champions League second qualifying round match against Ferencváros, he was unable to participate due to the injury. However, the coaching staff included him in the squad list to keep the information from the opponent.
Brazilian Mateus Ayash started the match as the central striker and scored a goal. In the second half, this role was taken by nominal winger Marin Jakoliš.
Gregório's injury is a serious blow for Noah, but the signing of Bosnian champion Mulahuseinović from Zrinjski should help the club compensate for the loss of its attacking leader.
