Ferencváros and Noah produced a fiery clash in Budapest (VIDEO)

On July 30, a packed Groupama Arena in Budapest hosted the second-leg match of the UEFA Champions League second qualifying round between Ferencváros and Noah. The teams delivered a real goal thriller that ended 4-3 in favor of the hosts. With an aggregate score of 6-4, the Hungarian club advanced to the third round of the Champions League.
In the very 1st minute, Ferencváros striker Aleksandar Pešić opened the scoring, but Noah quickly equalized – Elder Ferreira broke through one-on-one after a brilliant pass from Sergey Muradyan and left the goalkeeper with no chance. In the 12th minute, Lenny Joseph put Ferencváros back in the lead by finishing Toth's cross, but ten minutes later Armenian club struck back again – Maeus Ayas tapped in Ferreira's cross.
The teams went into the break tied 2-2, a result favorable for Ferencváros. Early in the second half, Joseph won a penalty, and Zachariassen converted it confidently to make it 3-2. But Noah didn't give up and equalized once more – Alen Grgic scored a header from Thorarinsson's cross.
In the closing stages, the Armenian side pushed for a winner but conceded the decisive goal – substitute Barnabás Varga sealed the 4-3 scoreline in the 74th minute.

In the Champions League third qualifying round, the Hungarian champions will face Bulgarian side Ludogorets, coached by former Noah boss Rui Mota.
Meanwhile, Noah will continue their European campaign in the Europa League against Gibraltar's Lincoln – matches will take place on August 7 and 14.
