Nair Tiknizyan bids an emotional farewell to Lokomotiv

Armenian national team defender Nair Tiknizyan has officially ended his time with Moscow’s Lokomotiv and joined Belgrade’s Red Star (Crvena Zvezda), signing a three-year contract.
In his farewell message, Tiknizyan addressed Lokomotiv fans:
“Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened.
I’m grateful to everyone who supported me and truly believed.
Yours, Tiki…”
Over four seasons with Lokomotiv, Tiknizyan played 122 matches, scored 16 goals, and provided 17 assists. His contribution to the team was significant both on and off the pitch.
The move to Crvena Zvezda marks a new chapter for the 26-year-old, who will now test himself in the Serbian league and European competitions.
