Greek club Olympiacos continued their winning streak in the 2026/27 UEFA Europa League, claiming their third victory in three matches of the league phase.
On October 22, Olympiacos defeated Sparta Prague 1-0 at home in Matchday 3 of the competition.
Armenia national team defender Nair Tiknizyan started the match on the bench and entered the field in the 74th minute, replacing Bruno Onyemaechi.
Just four minutes after the Armenian defender came on, the hosts scored the only goal of the match. In the 78th minute, Armando González headed home a cross from Marcus Pedersen to secure victory for the Greek side.
Tiknizyan played the closing stages of the match and helped Olympiacos protect their narrow lead. The Armenian defender received a 6.8 rating from the statistical platform SofaScore for his performance.
With this result, Olympiacos have collected nine points from their opening three Europa League matches. The Greek club had previously defeated Polish side Jagiellonia (2-1) and French club Marseille (1-0).
