FIFA has officially announced the launch of the voting process for The Best FIFA Football Awards™ 2025. Fans from all around the world can cast their votes for the best players, coaches, and goalkeepers of the year. Voting is available through the official FIFA app and will end on November 28, 2025, at 23:59 Central European Time.
The 10th, anniversary edition of the award will honor the most outstanding figures in global football. The organization emphasized that this year was particularly memorable due to the debut of the expanded FIFA Club World Cup 2025, held in the USA and featuring 32 of the world’s top clubs. The tournament gathered over 2.5 million spectators in stadiums and attracted a global television audience of more than one billion.
Expert panels have created shortlists in six main categories — for both men and women — in the nominations for Best Player, Best Coach, and Best Goalkeeper. Among the nominees for Best Women’s Player are stars such as Aitana Bonmati and Alexia Putellas from Barcelona, as well as Lauren James and Lucy Bronze from Chelsea. In the men’s category, the leading contenders include Kylian Mbappe (Real Madrid), Harry Kane (Bayern), and Lamine Yamal (Barcelona), one of the most talked-about young talents of the season.
The coaching awards also promise intrigue. In the women’s category, nominees include Sonia Bompastor (Chelsea) and Sarina Wiegman (England). Among the men, Mikel Arteta (Arsenal), Luis Enrique (Paris Saint-Germain), Hansi Flick (Barcelona), and other prominent coaches will compete for the title.
Anyone may participate in the voting by logging into the official FIFA app. The results will be announced at the awards ceremony early next year.
