Armenia U21 national team lost to North Macedonia (VIDEO)

The Armenia U21 national team suffered a defeat in the third round of the 2027 European Championship qualifiers (U21), losing 1-2 to North Macedonia. The match took place on October 10 in the Macedonian city of Bitola.
The Armenian team started the game successfully: in the 38th minute, Narek Hovhannisyan opened the score after an assist from David Hakobyan. However, after the break, the hosts seized the initiative. In the 54th minute, Dimitar Trajkov equalized with a strike following a corner kick, and in the 83rd minute the same Trajkov gave his team the victory, capitalizing on a comical mistake by goalkeeper David Davtyan.
Thus, the Armenian team failed to maintain its advantage and conceded in the closing stages of the match.
The next match will be played on October 14 against Italy. The game will take place in Cremona. Today, Italy is facing Sweden.
