Camarda and Bartesaghi to Play Against Armenia, Italy U21 Announce Squad

he Italy U21 national team continues its Euro 2027 qualifying campaign. After victories over Montenegro (2–1) and North Macedonia (1–0), the Azzurrini top Group E alongside Poland (6 points each).
In October, the team will face two home matches:

October 10 in Cesena vs Sweden

October 14 in Cremona vs Armenia
(Both games kick off at 18:15, live broadcast on Rai 2).
The coaching staff has called up 25 players. Four newcomers are included: defenders Niccolò Fortini (Fiorentina) and Alessandro Dellavalle (Modena), midfielders Giacomo Faticanti (Juventus Next Gen) and Alfadjo Cissé (Catanzaro). Forward Francesco Camarda (Lecce) returns after missing the September camp due to injury. Defender Brando Moruzzi (Empoli) will only be available against Armenia due to suspension.
Davide Bartesaghi will start for AC Milan against Juventus before the Armenia match, as Milan’s other left-back, Pervis Estupiñán, is suspended.

The match against Armenia will be played on October 14 in Cremona at the Giovanni Zini Stadium.
The Armenia U21 national team lost their first two qualifying matches against Sweden (0–3) and Poland (0–4).
