Milan claimed a hard-fought away victory over Como — 3:1 — and continue their pursuit of Inter in the Serie A title race. Massimiliano Allegri’s side showed great character, withstood intense pressure from the hosts, and converted almost all of their chances.
The home team started more actively and took the lead in the 10th minute when Mark-Oliver Kempf calmly finished a cross, forcing the Rossoneri to chase the game. Como looked sharper for most of the match, registering 18 shots on goal compared to Milan’s 7.
The man of the match was Adrien Rabiot. Late in the first half, the Frenchman earned a penalty, which Christopher Nkunku confidently converted. After the break, Milan patiently waited for their moment — and it came. In the 55th minute, Rafael Leão delivered a superb pass, and Rabiot powered the ball into the net to put Milan ahead. In the 88th minute, the midfielder sealed the win with a long-range strike, completing his brace.
Mike Maignan also deserves special praise. Milan’s goalkeeper made 8 saves and repeatedly rescued his team in critical moments. Nicolás Paz was particularly active for Como: the midfielder attempted eight shots, four of which were brilliantly saved by Maignan, while another effort struck the crossbar.

Milan are now unbeaten in Serie A for 19 consecutive matches, with their only defeat coming in the opening round against Cremonese. The Rossoneri have also been impressive against top-10 sides: draws came only against Juventus and Atalanta, while all other clashes with direct rivals ended in victories. Como, currently sixth, are also part of this group.
After 20 rounds, Inter have 46 points, Milan 43, and Napoli 40. The Serie A title race is heating up.
It is worth noting that yesterday Inter defeated Lecce (0:1), while Napoli were held to a draw by Parma (0:0).
