Italian media reactions to Mkhitaryan’s game vs Roma:
Sport.virgilio (6.5): Works tirelessly and selflessly. One of the most hard-working players, regardless of age. Hits the post in the closing minutes.
Eurosport (6.5): Always positions himself correctly, adding structure and intelligence to Inter’s counterattacks. A midfielder of rare football intelligence combined with great dedication. He too hit the post.
Calciomercato (7.5): Incredibly unlucky near goal — first a missed shot, then the post. In everything else — a giant, a demon ruling midfield, covering kilometers and recovering countless balls. A true professor.
Tuttomercatoweb (6): In the first half, after Bastoni’s pass, he could have decided the game but chose not to be the hero against his former club. Had another chance to double the lead late on.
Interlive: Far from his “irreplaceable” version but performs the unseen, dirty work, handling difficult balls. Luckily for Inter, he’s no ordinary player. Came very close to making it 2–0.
fcinter1908 (6.5): A complex performance — some errors in key zones but great play off the ball. Still pressing in the 92nd minute. For a year now, the goal seems smaller for the Armenian.
Leggo (7): Runs more than anyone, even in added time. Never stops fighting and confirms excellent physical condition. Came close to scoring. Ageless.
fcinternews (7): A game of two halves — flawless in his own half with positioning and interceptions but imprecise in attack. Yet, when others tire, he keeps improving. Deserved a goal.
Passioneinter (6): Often pushed forward, had a great early chance but shot too high. Missed another opportunity near the end after Frattesi’s pass.
L’Interista (6): The left flank works perfectly with him. Does everything right but fails to convert twice — a pity. His missed chances are becoming a running joke.
