In Matchday 7 of Serie A, Inter Milan earned a 1–0 away victory over AS Roma and climbed to the top of the Italian league table.
The only goal came in the 6th minute, scored by Anae-Yoan Bonny.

Armenian midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan started for the Nerazzurri and played the full 90 minutes.
