Mkhitaryan suffers injury and will miss Inter’s upcoming matches

Midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan has suffered a hamstring injury in his left thigh. This was reported following a medical examination that the footballer underwent this morning.

The 37-year-old Armenian midfielder sustained the injury during the Inter vs Atalanta (1–1) match. Mkhitaryan came onto the pitch in the second half and managed to finish the game, but he left the field experiencing pain in his leg.

The Armenian footballer will be sidelined at least until the end of the international break. As a result, he will definitely miss the Serie A Round 30 match against Fiorentina.

Mkhitaryan is expected to return for Inter’s home match against Roma scheduled for April 5.
