Former Armenia national team captain Henrikh Mkhitaryan has shared a post marking the 110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
In his Instagram story, the Inter Milan midfielder referred to the 1915 events as the first genocide of the 20th century, in which over 1.5 million Armenians were killed.
“The memory lives on. We continue to fight for the truth. And we stand united,” Mkhitaryan wrote.
The image in his post reads: “1915–2025. We remember. We demand. We are united.”
