20-year-old right-back Mark Gevorgyan will become a free agent this summer and will look for a new club after leaving the Hannover 96 system.
The footballer spent two years with the German club’s youth team. His first season was effectively lost due to injury, but in the current campaign Gevorgyan managed to return to regular match practice and became part of the Hannover 96 U23 squad rotation.
In the 2025/26 season, Gevorgyan played for Hannover 96 U23 in the Regionalliga Nord. He made 28 appearances and registered one assist. In addition, during the winter training camp, the defender was involved in first-team training sessions and took part in several friendly matches, but he did not manage to make his debut in the 2. Bundesliga.
After the end of the season, several players from the youth team signed professional contracts with Hannover 96’s first team, but Gevorgyan was not among them. As a result, the defender will leave the club when his contract expires.
In the final match of the season, Hannover 96 U23 completed their Regionalliga Nord campaign in sixth place. After the game, Mark Gevorgyan received a commemorative gift from the club and said goodbye to the team.
The 20-year-old defender will now continue his career at a new club, joining as a free agent.
