Right-back Mark Gevorgyan has joined the Hannover 96 first team for their winter training camp, which is taking place in Turkey.
In the current season, the 20-year-old Armenia U21 international has been playing for Hannover 96 U23 in the Regionalliga, where he made 17 appearances and recorded one assist.
Hannover 96’s first team has already played a friendly match in Belek against Borussia Mönchengladbach. Gevorgyan did not take part in that game, however, two friendly matches are scheduled for Friday, significantly increasing the chances of the Armenian defender appearing on the pitch.
It should be noted that three players from the U23 squad and one player from the U19 team have joined the first team for the winter training camp.
Currently, Hannover 96 are in 5th place in the 2. Bundesliga standings and continue their fight for promotion to Germany’s top division.
