Marif Piraev withdraws from fight against Eduard Vartanyan at Fight Nights

Unfortunately, Marif Piraev will be unable to enter the octagon against “Lion Heart” team representative Eduard Vartanyan. The cancellation is due to Piraev’s health. The bout was scheduled for August 16 in Moscow as part of the Fight Nights event.

The organizers have already started searching for a replacement: according to our information, three potential opponents have been offered to Vartanyan. Eduard himself is determined to keep the date and step into the cage regardless of any card reshuffles.

Eduard Vartanyan (26–4) last fought on August 23, 2024, defeating Aleksandr Grozin. It’s important for him to compete now so as not to prolong the gap between official appearances.
