Armenian kickboxer Marat Grigorian claimed an impressive victory at the ONE FC event in Tokyo, knocking out Japan’s Kaito Ono in the very first round.
Grigorian, whose professional record now stands at 70 wins and 14 losses, took the initiative from the opening minutes and began putting heavy pressure on his opponent. After a series of powerful and accurate strikes, Ono fell to the canvas and was unable to continue the fight.
The Japanese fighter, who holds a 61-11 record, tried with great difficulty to get back to his feet, but he was clearly shaken by Grigorian’s attacks. The referee stopped the bout, confirming a confident stoppage victory for the Armenian athlete.
