Mamikon Khachatryan Wins Gold at World Cup Stage in Tashkent

18-year-old Armenian gymnast Mamikon Khachatryan won the gold medal at the 2025 World Challenge Cup stage in artistic gymnastics held in Tashkent. He came first in the pommel horse event with a score of 14.500.
The silver medal went to Uzbekistan’s Ravshan Kamiljanov (14.350), while the bronze was claimed by Ukraine’s Ihor Dyshchuk (13.400).
Another medal for Team Armenia was won by Armen Petrosyan, who placed third in the floor exercise final with a score of 13.650. The event was won by Uzbekistan’s Abdulaziz Mirvaliev (13.900), and second place went to his compatriot Khumoyun Islomov (13.700).
It is worth noting that Mamikon Khachatryan also competed at the 2025 European Championships, where he became the runner-up.
