Armenian national team representative in the 77 kg weight category, Malkhas Amoyan, won the gold medal at the 2025 European Greco-Roman Wrestling Championships held in Bratislava.
The 26-year-old wrestler defeated Ramaz Zoidze of Georgia 3:1 in the final, claiming the European title for the fourth time in his career.
Now, the “Yezidi Lion” boasts four golds and one silver from continental championships. Notably, Amoyan has reached the final in each of the last five European Championships.
