Mike Gevorgyan Joins Unterhaching

20-year-old midfielder Mike Gevorgyan has transferred from the second team of Munich’s "1860 Munich", which plays in the Bavarian Regionalliga (the fourth tier of German football).

Last season, Gevorgyan played 28 matches, scoring 8 goals and providing 6 assists. He also appeared twice for the main team of "1860 Munich" in the 3. Liga. In early June, he made his debut for the Armenia U21 national team in a friendly match against Cyprus, playing alongside his brother Mark.

"I'm very happy to become part of Unterhaching. It's an exciting challenge and I'm fully focused on it. I want to contribute to the success of the team," said Mike Gevorgyan.

The club’s sporting director, Markus Schwabl, also praised the newcomer:
"With Mike, we’ve acquired a great and well-prepared player. His 14 goal contributions last season speak for themselves. He also has professional-level experience. We’re glad we convinced him to join us."

Unterhaching is a strong team for the Regionalliga, having spent the last two seasons in the 3. Liga and aiming to return.
