On July 2, 2025, Armenian football witnessed one of the most sensational domestic transfers: former Cameroon national team forward Marius Noubissi officially became a player of FC Pyunik.
Transfer Details
The 28-year-old striker moved from Ararat-Armenia, where he had played since August 2024. According to unofficial reports, Noubissi had demanded a salary of €25,000 per month from Ararat-Armenia, but the club could not meet his request. At Pyunik, the Cameroonian agreed to a contract offering roughly €18,000 per month.
Last season, Noubissi featured in 31 matches for Ararat-Armenia across all competitions, scoring 20 goals and providing 3 assists. In the Armenian Premier League (Fastex 2024/25), he finished as the second-highest scorer with 18 goals. His previous career included spells in France’s Ligue 2, Belgium’s top division, and the Finnish league.
