Champions League: Results of the Second Round on October 1

In the second round of the Champions League 2025/26 league stage, several teams continued their winning streak. Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal, and Qarabağ collected maximum points after two matches.
Qarabağ 2:0 Copenhagen
Abdellah Zoubir opened the scoring in the 28th minute, and Emmanuel Addai sealed the victory for the Baku side with a powerful strike late in the game. The Azerbaijani club confidently leads the group.
Arsenal 2:0 Olympiacos
Martinelli and Saka secured another clean-sheet win for the Londoners. Goalkeeper David Raya also made a crucial save.
Barcelona 1:2 PSG
Ferran Torres put the hosts ahead early, but Senny Mayulu equalized before the break. In the final minute, Ramos gave PSG a dramatic victory.
Borussia Dortmund 4:1 Athletic
Dortmund scored four goals again, but this time it was enough for a convincing win. Svensson, Chukwuemeka, Guirassy, and Brandt were on target.
Monaco 2:2 Manchester City
Haaland scored twice in his 50th UCL match, but Dier’s penalty in the 90th minute denied City the win.
Newcastle 4:0 Union SG
Anthony Gordon converted two penalties, while Woltemade and Barnes added more for a resounding victory. Newcastle’s biggest ever win in the UCL.
Napoli 2:1 Sporting
A Højlund brace gave Napoli their first win in the tournament, despite Suárez’s penalty for Sporting.
Leverkusen 1:1 PSV
Young Kofane scored for Leverkusen, but Saibari quickly equalized.
Villarreal 2:2 Juventus
Veiga rescued the hosts late on after goals from Gatti and Conceição.
After two rounds, six clubs have six points each: PSG, Arsenal, Qarabağ, Bayern, Inter, and Real Madrid. Benfica, Athletic, Ajax, and Kairat remain pointless.
